A few updates on various locos.

Class 52 D1010: The "B" end transmission issue continues to be investigated. We hope to be able to
have a statement on what happened when further investigation work has been completed.

Class 47 D1661: Work continues on the bogie painting and the external fittings renovation, along with
the internal cleaning and painting, with a view to return to service in time for the 2019 season.

Class 33 D6566: Now at WN, stabled on No 1 road, and available as the duty locomotive for the WSR to
use on engineering trains or stock movement duties at short notice.

Class 33 D6575: Also at WN, so that the outstanding items from the maintenance schedule can be
performed. Loco remains serviceable.

Class 35 D7017: Now stabled outside on No 2 road, awaiting a replacement fuel gauge.

Class 35 D7018: Stabled on No 2 road inside WN shed, this loco needs attention to a list of small tasks
in preparation for her return to service for the 2019 season.

Class 14 D9518: The frames are currently in the Swindon shed receiving attention from WS
Restorations. There has been a lot of progress on the frames and there are plenty of jobs to be done to
help maintain the momentum.

Class 14 D9526: Now back at WN and in the old goods shed. The loco is having winter jobs and a minor
fault with the engine governor attended to.

Below we have a selection of photos from Graham showing D7017 out and about in sunnier and much
warmer days this year!  She is seen at various locations on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire
Railway operating when she visited. The bottom two photos are from her working the Quantock Belle
Dining Train back in August.
