Loco Running Dates Update- 29/8/17

Its nearly September and we still have Diesel Loco Running Dates to enjoy on the WSR.
This coming weekend there are two events to pick from or maybe you can even fit in both!

At home on the WSR we have the "Late Summer Weekend" a mixture of Diesel and Steam Traction (2nd
and 3rd September).We are providing D6575, D1661 and D1010 for the event.
We understand the Class 33 will work the freight train on both days. D1661 will work passenger services
on the Saturday and D1010 will work passenger trains on the Sunday. This is to be finally confirmed when
the working timetabl is issued.

Meanwhile if you fancy a trip up London way on Saturday- Old Oak Common Depot in West London is
opening its doors for a Depot open day just a few months before it is due to close. Our very own D7017 is
safely up there in the good company of fellow Hydraulic D821.
