Take a national network rail service to Taunton. From Taunton, take a Number 28 bus to Bishops Lydeard (ultimate destination Minehead). The bus stop is accessible direct from Platform 4 north end.

On WSR operating days, most number 28 buses call directly at Bishops Lydeard WSR Station. Take a WSR service train to Williton Station. The D&EPG depot is located in the station yard, behind the Old Goods Shed.
If WSR services are not running, take the number 28 bus direct to Williton. You can reach the station on foot by heading north up the A39 (named Long Street) towards Bridgwater. At the end of the town and just before the railway overbridge, turn left towards Roughmoor Trading Estate and then on to Station Road. The station & depot is at the end of this road just before the level crossing and signal box. This is a 20-30 minutes walk!
Occasionally during special events, a direct rail shuttle service is operated directly from Taunton station to Bishops Lydeard. Check the WSR website to see if this service is running and we’ll also try to post a notice on this page if the shuttle will be running for any diesel events.
