The book is one of a well-known series that was published at a time when books on diesels were not so readily available as they are now. This book is faded and discoloured on the jacket but the inside is still in very good condition and contains plenty of black-and-white photos covering all of the diesel classes of Type 2 and upwards that worked in the Western Region of BR, including a great view of ‘Hymek’ D7035 departing from Williton in one of the last years of the branch while still under BR operation. This is one of the most sought-after books of this series.
