96 printed pages filled with colour photographs covering a wide range of diesel locomotive classes, plus some multiple units, almost all in green livery except where it was relevant to show the alternative livery. This book is organised into separate chapters that cover each region of British Railways as they existed in the 1960s and each chapter carries an introductory text before launching into pictures and captions.

Unlike some books in this series, this volume is not just a ‘picture book’ because the photos are highly varied and worth dwelling upon. This plus the interesting captions make it good value for money and that is why we are offering it.
